While filling out the sets, I noticed that entered data is lost if you don't explicitly click "Save" before returning to the main screen. There is currently no warning or automatic saving.
The best User Experience (UX) options:
The 'Seamless' solution (Auto-save):
How: As soon as you leave a field or change a value, the app saves it immediately in the background.
Extra: Change the 'Save' button to a 'Cancel' or 'Restore' button in case someone makes a mistake.
Why: This fits perfectly with the desire for "as little clicking as possible." The client never has to think about saving again.
The 'Safety Net' solution (Smart warning):
How: Only when a user has actually changed a value and then tries to leave without saving, a short message appears: "Save changes?" with the options [Yes] [No].
Why: This prevents unnecessary pop-ups (if nothing has changed, you won't see anything), but it does protect the client's data.
In a training environment, where focus and speed are important, I think Auto-save (option 1) is the superior experience. It feels "smarter" and completely removes a manual step from the athlete's workflow.
